Hair, Make-up and a Photo shoot!!!

My apologies for the delayed post. I have been working on a dream project for a very good friend and amazing hair and make-up stylist "Gabby Medina".

Gabby asked us to work on her portfolio a few months back but as we know; this type of project take time. We had to make lots and lots of decisions, which included a list o models to invite, the different hair and make-up, clothing, accessories (the fun part), days we were able to do it, and the times. Gabby and I have been blessed to know many of our models as clients, and as subjects for many of our past projects. Here are some of the images we have taken of these beautiful girls - one word "AMAZING" - THANK YOU - to all the beautiful models that participated in this project. Thank you, Thank you, for your time, patience, and your positive attitude. This project wouldn't be what it is without YOU.

We have been extremely busy with a current project, we have so many great images and I want to freshen up the blog as we progress through the editing process. Here I am sharing a pic of one of our male models. This guy was a photographer's dream full of ideas and with a cool wardrobe. The Wedding of Karina & Jose took place at a beautiful golf course situated in Maryland. We had the best time with the bridal party and everyone that came out to celebrate with them. What a great couple!!! Please enjoy a few of the images we captured on this wonderful day. Once again, Congratulations and the best of luck to you guys!!!

Norma & Hared Engagement Photo Shoot

Norma and Hared were such a delight to work with. Norma was very laid back and easy going. Hared was full of energy and full of ideas, and ready for anything we asked of him. We met them through one of our favorite brides "Lorena". We knew we wanted to work with them and be part of their magical day from the day we met them. We only have the best of memories of this couple, their engagement photo shoot, and of course their wedding day.
They made our job so easy - Thank you guys...

Xio's Bridal Shoot

Xio was probably one of Paumen Photography's first models. She has been featured in many of our portrait and bridal spreads since 2004.

The following shoot took place at a secret location. I am always searching for new locations to shoot and luckily for me this location was available during this weekend.


The idea behind Xio's photo shoot was sophistication. Vic and I wanted to capture the beauty of the location, the pergolas, the drippings of greenery falling through the wood from above with a touch of elegance.

Raquel's Photoshoot

The concept for Raquel's photoshoot was "Princess in the garden"; I had planned this shoot since last year or so. Raquel is one of my most beautiful and busy models. Timing is an issue when planning the photoshoots and concepts for showcasing my work with my models, and am very lucky that she was able to do the photoshoot with us.

I wanted to show my future brides the candid shots that we can achieve if we can coordinate and time these photoshoots between the ceremony and reception. I love these types of photoshoots because it is during this time that my brides are at their very best.

Esther - Sweet Sixteen Photoshoot

"Sweet Sixteen" Photoshoot.

I have been receiving a lot of Quinceañera's (Sweet Fifteen/ Sixteen) inquiries and a lot of parents wishing to hire PaumenPhotography for their Quinceañera's event. Regrettably, we have been very busy with engagement photo shoots and/or weddings that we have not been able to commit.

I was pretty bummed out because I love Quinceañeras; and not having the time to commit to any this year decided to set up a Quinceañera's photoshoot with one of my beautiful models and niece Esther.

Xiomara's Bridal photoshoot.

The beautiful bride you are about to see is one of our favorite models "XIOMARA".
Xiomara has been modeling for PaumenPhotography for the past 3 or 4 years.

I love setting up photoshoots from time to time to test out new equipment and/or new locations. At PaumenPhotography we are always trying to innovate the art of photography, and do so by visiting new "secret" locations. It is my specialty to bring you new concepts when it comes time to plan your special day.

Thip's Photoshoot [model series]

Thip is an amazing model. We went to our favorite secret location and calculated that it would take 5 - 7 hours to finish the photoshoot. WE WERE AMAZED when we were done with the WHOLE thing in 32 minutes........ We must have taken about 250 frames of our model - the next better than the last. I will keep posting some more later. In the meantime....
